You may already know, after 18 several weeks of writing and editing, my new book, 10 Years a Nomad: A Traveler’s Journey Home, arrived on the scene recently.
Unlike these books, this isn’t a “how to guide” but an accumulation of tips, advice, and tales in the road. It a memoir of my 10 years backpacking the planet and also the training I learned on the way.
This book will get towards the heart of wanderlust and just what extended travel all over the world can educate us about existence, ourselves, and our world. (Or at best attempts to.)
It’s designed to show people who basically, a sheltered nerdy kid from the suburbs, could muster the courage to get this done and survive, you are able to too!
Cheryl Strayed known as it inspiring. The La Occasions stated, “This book isn’t only for travelers it’s for anybody that has needed more and it has removed to locate it.” Tony Wheeler, the founding father of Lonely Planet, loved it. So did Rolf Potts.
And, more to the point, a large number of readers who keep delivering me messages they couldn’t place it lower also it restored their wanderlust. (For any author, that’s the very best factor we are able to hear.)
During the last month, I’ve done lots of interviews, videos, podcasts, and guest posts speaking not just about my book but the best way to travel more frequently – and become a much better traveler whenever you do.
And So I desired to share a number of things i’ve been as much as so discover more concerning the book and obtain some travel tips simultaneously:

Book Your Flight
Look for a cheap flight by utilizing Skyscanner or Momondo. They’re my two favorite search engines like google simply because they search websites and airlines around the world which means you always know nothing remains unturned.
Book The Resort
You are able to book your hostel with Hostelworld because they possess the largest inventory. If you wish to stay somewhere apart from a hostel, use Booking.com because they consistently return the least expensive rates for guesthouses and economical hotels. I personally use them constantly.
Don’t Forget Travel Cover
Travel cover will safeguard you from illness, injuries, thievery, and cancellations. It’s comprehensive protection in situation anything goes completely wrong. Irrrve never use a trip without them when i’ve had for doing things many occasions previously. I’ve used World Nomads for 10 years.
